Pattern Revisions for Debbie Bliss Magazine Spring/Summer 2011
1. Rose Cardigan
In some copies of the magazine, the Maroon(A) squares are indistinguishable from the Bright Pink (B) squares, so if you require revised charts please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Cardigan with Rose Buttons
Left Front and Right Front
After the 15th row the following line should read:
Cont in this way to dec 2 sts on every 4th row, not dec 4 sts.
4. Cardigan with Rose Motif
In some copies of the magazine, the Red 09 squares are indistinguishable from the Fuchsia 22 squares, so if you require a revised chart please contact email@example.com.
7. Lace Edged Tunic
The shaping rows should read:
Dec row K6, skpo, k to last 8 sts, k2tog, k6.
Work 19 rows.
Rep the last 20 rows twice more and the dec row again.
Work 7 rows.
Inc row K3, m1, k to last 3 sts, m1, k3.
Rep the last 8 rows 3 times more, then the inc row again.
9. Lacy Stole
When working the Border, you should work a total of 62 repeats, 20 rep on each side, one at each corner and 9 across the top and bottom. When turning the corners, slip only the picked up edging st back onto the circular needle in order to work into it again on the next wrong side row.
11. Lace Capelet
This has been a really popular design that is quite an advanced project, so you may find the following stitch count helpful:
Here are the st counts for each of the right side rows:
1st row 81(90:99) sts.
3rd row 97(108:119) sts.
5th, 7th, 9th and 11th rows 97(108:119) sts.
13th row 113(126:139) sts.
15th row 129(144:159) sts.
17th row 145(162:179) sts.
19th row 161(180:199) sts.
21st row 177(198:219) sts.
23rd row 193(216:239) sts.
25th row 209(234:259) sts.
27th, 29th, 31st, 33rd, 35th, 37th, 39th and 41st rows 225(252:279) sts.
43rd, 45th, 47th and 49th rows 217(243:269) sts.
51st row 233(261:289) sts.
53rd row 249(279:309) sts.
55th, 57th, 59th 61st, 63rd, 65th and 67th rows 265(297:329) sts.
There are errors in the inc/dec row, and also in the number of times you work the repeat in the sleeve edgings - please work as follows:
Divide for Back and Sleeves
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th sizes only
Next row Dec 2(inc 2:inc 1:0:dec 1:dec 2:inc 2:inc 1) sts across st st section then work across 2nd row of patt panel to marker.
4th size only
P across st st section, then work across 2nd row of patt panel to marker.
Place these sts on a holder for Right Sleeve.
With right side facing and 3.25mm (US 3) needles, slip sts from right sleeve onto a needle.
1st row Cast on one st, k this st, p1, k1, yf, k2tog, [p2, k1, yf, k2tog] to last st, p1.
2nd row Cast on one st, p this st, k1, p3, [k2, p3] to last 2 sts, k1, p1.
3rd row K1, p1, k1, yf, k2tog [p2, k1, yf, k2tog] to last 2 sts, p1, k1.
4th row P1, k1, p3, [k2, p3] to last 2 sts, k1, p1.
Rep the 3rd and 4th rows 5 times more.
Join row ends to form sleeve.
Repeat for Left Sleeve.
You will also need a 3mm (US 2-3) circular needle.
Apart from the armhole edgings, the dress is worked on 3.25mm (US 3) needles, not (US 6) as stated in parts of the instructions.
19. Table Runner
Unfortunately, the instructions for the Table Runner were omitted from the magazine, so anyone requiring a copy of the pattern, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The colours are as follows: Red 613 (A), Burnt Orange 01 (B) and Bright Pink 12 (C).
After working the ridge row, the patt should be worked in 2 row stripes as follows:
1st row With A, k to end.
2nd row With A, k1, [p1, k1] to end.
3rd row With B, k to end.
4th row With B, p1, [k1, p1] to end.
5th and 6th rows As 1st and 2nd rows, with C.
7th and 8th rows As 3rd and 4th rows, with A.
9th and 10th rows As 1st and 2nd rows, with B.
11th and 12th rows As 3rd and 4th rows, with C.
These 12 rows form the colour stripe patt and are repeated.
Unfortunately an extra row of stars was printed on the chart for the US flag, no offence was intended, this was a genuine error and if you would like an amended chart please contact: email@example.com.
