This is not a correction, just an explanation.
After working the 12 rows set out for the armhole shaping, the next row which will be the 1st pattern row should be worked as follows:
1st row (right side) K3, yf, [skpo, yf] twice, k1, skpo, k2, * k2tog, k1, yf, [skpo, yf] twice, k1, skpo, k2; rep from * 3(4) times more, k2tog, k1, yf, [skpo, yf] twice, k5.
You now need to work another 47(59) rows, repeating the 2nd to 12th rows as given in the book then working the 1st row as given above.
